19 Local Groups to Serve as Guest Greeters at Fatz

FLORENCE, SC - Organizations from around the Pee Dee Region are set to participate in the Community Appreciation/Guest Greeter event at Fatz Cafe in Florence.  Beginning Tuesday, September 6th, a group representative will meet restaurant patrons at the front door of Fatz from noon to 2pm.  A different group will host each day.

Participants include:  Florence City Police, Florence Little Theatre, Florence Chamber of Commerce, Junior League of Florence, Pee Dee Tourism, Pee Dee State Farmer's Market, Florence County Library, Darlington Raceway, McLeod Mobil Mammography, City of Florence Urban Planning & Development, Florence County Sheriff's Department, Lynches River County Park, FMU Performing Arts Center, Humane Society, Florence Tennis Association, Farmer's Market Wind in the Willows, Harvest Hope Good Bank, West Florence Fire Department and the Boys & Girls Club of the Pee Dee.

These organizations may use this time to promote and educate the public regarding their function in the community.  Some groups may choose to promote upcoming events.
