From Lindsey Bennett of the Cheraw Arts Commission:

Join us at the Cheraw State Park House on the Hill - Tuesday, October 25 - 11:30-1:30 for lunch and discussion with nature photographer, David L. Foster.   The Georgia photographer is the artist-in-residence at the Park during October. David will share ideas and lead discussion regarding nature photo issues and lessons learned.

David's photography has been recognized at both the Southeastern Flower Show and Georgia Nature Photographers Association.  In 2010 his image, "Spring Blossoms," was among 31 chosen for the 2010 Atlanta Celebrates Photography exhibit in the Atrium Gallery at Atlanta Airport. Some of David's photos will be displayed at the Cheraw Arts Commission Burr Gallery - 200 Powe Street during November. His photography can be viewed on his website.

Attendees are encouraged to pack a bag lunch and bring a camera. There will be some outdoor time for application, if weather permits.  This is a free event sponsored by the Cheraw Arts Commission and Cheraw State Park.  To reserve a space and receive additional information call the CAC 843.537.8420 x 12.
