FMU Performing Arts Center presents Barry Smith’s, “Every Job I’ve Ever
A unique show, Barry Smith’s, “Every Job I’ve Ever Had” will be performed Jan. 27 in the Black Box Theatre at the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center.
The one man performance began in 2006 as one of the shows created for The Barry Smith Comedy Project Experiment Thing. In the show Smith challenged himself to write and perform a new solo, autobiographical hour-long multimedia comedy show every week for four weeks in a row. He did this all at a very cool venue called Steve’s Guitars in Carbondale, Colo. which is also where “Every Job …” was first performed.
This show is the sixth of 10 shows in the “Black Box Events Series” being performed during the PAC’s inaugural year.
In addition to the “Black Box Events Series,” there are four other shows during the PAC’s season that runs until May of 2012. Those series include, Broadway plays, concerts, family oriented shows and a variety series as well as the acts in the smaller, more intimate Black Box Theatre. Information on the complete season is available at www.fmupac.org.
Prices for the show begin at $10 and may be purchased at www.fmupac.org, via telephone at (843) 661-4444, and at the FMU Performing Arts Center Box Office. Telephone and personal ticket sales are available Monday through Friday between 12-5 p.m. Subject to availability, tickets may be available for purchase at the door.
The PAC is located in downtown Florence at the intersection of Dargan and Evans Streets.
