In Florence - The Harvest Hope Food Bank will be hosting a social event and action in November to try to raise funds to help replenish dwindling supplies in the agency’s food. On November 2nd Harvest Hope will hold an auction to benefit the agency’s mission to provide for the needs of hungry people by gathering and sharing quality food with dignity, compassion and education.
The “Hope Harvest” Benefit will take place in the historic downtown Florence at 150 West Evans Street. Nicole Echols from Harvest Hope says that bowls will be for auction made by Teri Federer and students at The Kings Academy in Florence. We hope that people will get these bowls, take them home, put them on their kitchen table and they will be a constant reminder of people who are going to bed hungry and do not have anything to put in their bowls.
Tickets are $25.00 and will be on sale at thehopeharvest.org and for more information about helping hungry people in our community please contact Nicole Echols 843-661-0826.
