January 30th: Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at the FMU PAC

Aquila Theatre will stage its version of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Francis Marion University's Performing Arts Center.
This classically trained, yet contemporary team will free the essential spirit of the play in a production that will be both faithful to Shakespeare and relevant and accessible to a modern audience.
What has been donned Shakespeare's most humorous comedy, Twelfth Night, as portrayed by Aquila Theatre, is a hilarious adventure of identical twins and mistaken identity and explores the universal themes of love and all its ambiguous effects on human behavior.
"We are pleased to bring companies like Aquila Theatre to the Pee Dee region as part of our commitment to enhancing the cultural fabric," says Laura Sims, director of the PAC. "Each of us now has an opportunity to savor the experience of a high quality classical production at an affordable price, right in our community."
Tickets to Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, the second of three shows in the PAC's variety series, can be purchased at a cost of $15 at the PAC box office during regular box office hours (M-F, Noon to 5 p.m.). Contact the box office for more details at 843-661-4444.
