"A Tale of Two Dragons"

This March 2015 Exhibit is a combination of two Florence district  1 Schools; Lucy T. Davis Elementary School and in conjunction with the art program at South Florence high.  According to Amber Hekman, Art Teacher for Lucy T. Davis after reading "Dragons Love Tacos" she involved her elementary students  in drawing their own stories and drawings of their dragons.  Amber passed those over to Wanda Hanna, Art Instructor at South Florence High School to develop those 2 D drawings into actual 3 D clay sculuptures. Reception will be on Friday, March 13, 2015, There will be 60 entries 2D and also 60 entries for 3d.

Both the drawings and the 3 D sculpture pieces will be on display at the Art Trail gallery from the opening reception  at the Art trail Gallery on March 13 from 5:30 till 7:30 PM.   The exhibit will continue till March 31st.
