Clarence Darrow Will Still Evoke a Challenge
at the Florence Little Theatre on October 22, 2011
If you plan to see Inherit the Wind, the second show of FLT’s season, you should not miss an introduction given by a renowned actor, Gary Anderson.
Anderson’s introduction will come through his portrayal of Clarence Darrow in Search For Justice on October 22, 2011at Florence Little Theatre. As a lawyer, Darrow braved the wrath of the entire nation in unforgettable courtroom dramas that pitted one man against the entrenched forces of the Establishment.
Anderson’s performance, which promises to be powerful and thought-provoking, will inform the audience about Darrow and prepare the audiences for FLT’s Inherit the Wind (directed by Shaw Thompson). There are at least six trials that are included in this presentation; it is about the man behind the legend, not always the hero and not always at his best.
