What: Dylan Sneed, Hartsville-based, critically acclaimed songwriter performs a solo electric set at Mac’s Lounge in Hartsville, Friday, July 20.
Additional Info: Known for his acoustic finger-picking style, Sneed is experimenting with a new setup based around electric guitar, electronic instruments, loops, and stereo amplifiers. The set will include new arrangements of material from his past two records as well as new songs and select covers. There is a $5 cover charge.
Who: Dylan Sneed, Hartsville-based, internationally-touring songwriter, has been called "a sober Townes Van Zandt" (SC Free Times) and "the best side of true Americana: music of passion and skill that can move audiences with a whisper or a roar." (Dallas Observer) His previous two records were #1 and #6 simultaneously on the South Carolina Roots Music Chart. Sneed’s E.P. No Worse For The Wear made the top 40 on the national Roots Music Report Folk Chart.
