Darlington County artist Patz Fowle recently received a first place award for her sculpture Smoked Salmon in the Sumter Artists’ Guild Exhibition at the Sumter County Gallery of Art.
The Sumter Artists’ Guild show is an annual exhibition held at the Sumter County Gallery of Art. The juror for this year was Wendth Thomas Wells, artist and owner of City Art in Columbia, SC.
Dates for the Sumter Artists’ Guild Exhibition are July 12-August 31, 2012. The Sumter Gallery of Art is open Tuesday-Saturday, 11-5 and Sunday, 1:30-5pm.
