This year’s Opening Night will feature the talented pianist and composer Dmitri Levkovich as guest soloist. The Florence Symphony will be beginning the night by performing theTannhauser Overture by Richard Wagner. Then they will move to Camille Saint-Saens’s Piano Concerto No. 2 followed by Frederic Chopin’s Grande Polonaise. The Grande Polonaise will feature the musical talents of Dmitri Levkovich. Finally, the evening will end with Ottorino Respighi’s Pines of Rome.
