The Florence Little Theatre Children's Workshop will present a production of Disney's Winnie the Pooh Kids on December 14-16, 2012. This production will be directed by Lisa Sims and is underwritten by Chick-fil-A.
This year we will offer four performances: Friday, December 14 at 7:30pm; Saturday, December 15 at 3:00pm and 7:30pm and Sunday, December 16 at 3:00pm. Disney's Winnie The Pooh Kids welcomes audiences to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, but discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship, and sharing snacks.
The Children's Workshop has been very busy this year with an enrollment of over forty students. The Workshop has had a great year with some truly talented students. Reservations for Disney's Winnie the Pooh Kids will not be taken. Open seating is available. Ticket prices are $5.00 per person. The Theatre is located at 417 S. Dargan Street. For more information, please call 662-3731.
