The Dr. N. Lee Morris Gallery at the Drs. Bruce and Lee Foundation Library in Florence, South Carolina, celebrates the arrival of spring with a special photographic exhibit by Dr. William C. Alexander. Dr. Alexander is a wildlife/nature photographer specializing in vertebrate animals, particularly birds in their natural environment. A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, Dr. Alexander has a doctorate in Zoology and has been photographing wildlife since 1974. His photographs have been featured in numerous publications including National Wildlife, Bird Watcher's Digest, South Carolina Waterfowl Magazine, and Birds of the Carolinas. In addition, his works have also been regularly used by various national wildlife refuges (NWR), including Santee NWR, Carolina Sandhills NWR, Pee Dee NWR, and Mattamuskeet NWR in North Carolina.
The exhibit will run from March 20 through April 30. Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday: 9am-8:30pm, Friday & Saturday: 9am-5:30pm and Sunday: 2-6pm. Admission is free.
