March 19th: 'Live @ Central' to host Hunley Historian Randy Burbage

Live @ Central - Submarine Hunley Historian Randy Burbage

 

When the Confederate Submarine H.L. Hunley sank the Union USS Housatonic  in 1964, it was the first recorded submersible to sink an enemy ship in US history.  Randy Burbage in Charleston Historian and chairman of the Hunley Commission has been an annual presenter for Live @ Central.  He will bring us up to date on the Hunley restoration and other present Charleston historical activities.

 

For the “Live @ Central” on March 19th, the program will begin at 6:30.  There is a dinner at 5:30 PM. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
