The Rising Star Workshop presents 'You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.' This revival musical will open on Friday, May 30 at 7:30pm and Saturday, May 31 at 7:30pm at the Florence Little Theatre. This musical is being presented by our Rising Stars which is a workshop designed for teens grades 9-12. This musical is directed by Debbie Floyd.
The musical follows a day in the life of Charlie Brown, although this is an extraordinary day made up of all the little moments picked from all the days of Charlie Brown, from Valentine's Day to the baseball season, showcasing wild optimism to utter despair, and it's all mixed in with the lives of his sister, Sally Brown, and friends Linus, Lucy, Schroeder and Snoopy. This singing, dancing 1999 revival of "Charlie Brown" went on to win two Tony Awards and three Drama Desk Awards. Come have a happy day with the Peanuts gang!
Tickets are $5.00 person and can be purchased at the door one hour before the performance.
