May 9th: Florence Symphony to perform at Moore Farms Botanical Garden


The Florence Symphony will present an evening of favorites on Friday May 9, 2014 hosted by the Moore Farms Botanical Garden. Its Spring and the Gardens are in full bloom. This will be an evening to remember.

The program will feature the music of Bizet’s Carmen, Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera, Rogers and Hammerstein’s Sound of Music, Sousa’s  Stars and Stripes and more .

Seating is available on the lawn (bring your lawn chair or blanket), in a seated area or at tables for 8. A social hour will begin at6PM and the concert will begin at 7 PM. Rain date will be on Saturday May 10.
