FLORENCE LITTLE THEATRE TO PRESENT
Charlotte’s Web
Adapted by Joseph Robinette
Based on the book by E.B. White
Directed by Brad Sponic
The Florence Little Theatre will present the Armstrong Management Wealth Group production of Charlotte’s Web on July 11-13 and July 18-20, 2014. This play is being directed by Brad Sponic.
All your favorite characters are present in this faithful stage adaptation of E.B. White’s legendary novel. Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be "a true friend and a good writer." Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web in which she writes, "Some pig." It's the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte. This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship that will provide you with an evening of enchantment. (Not included in the regular membership)
The Florence Little Theatre is located at 417 S. Dargan Street. Tickets will go on sale on July 7, 2014. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. For more information, please call 662-3731 or visit our website at www.florencelittletheatre.org.
