Florence Symphony Orchestra Begins its 65th Season

Celebrating its 65th season, the Florence Symphony Orchestra offers performances of classical and pops favorites. Opening night is 7:30 PM, Monday, October 13, 2014, at the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center. Pianist Paolo Andre Gualdi takes the stage with the orchestra to perform Beethoven’s Leonora Overture, Number 3; Scriabin’s Concerto in F Sharp Minor, Opus 20; and, Brahms’ Third Symphony. Tiered season subscriptions are available by calling the FSO office. Performance information is listed on the FSO website. Single concert tickets begin at $30 for students and are available at the FMU PAC Box Office – 843.661.4444 or FMUPAC.org. Senior and student discounts are available. Single tickets are available for purchase after September 8, 2014.
