The “Top of the Pot” Singer/Songwriters Competition is designed specifically for amateur musicians who have written their own lyrics/music. Clay Pot’s 2nd Year Anniversary “Top of the Pot” Singer Songwriter Competition; below are this years round dates and artists line ups featuring 15 local artists who will compete over the next few weeks with the final competition being held on September 27th in the William H. Johnson Courtyard from 5-9pm. (behind the Coffee Shop) All contestants are invited and encouraged to perform at the 27th finale beginning at 5pm, each contestant will receive a Clay Pot Tshirt, dinner and a drink, although only 5 artists will be completing for the top 5 prizes all contestants will be voted on by the audience for the peoples choice award. Contestant finalist will be contacted by email on Saturday September 20th.
This round will feature contestants/artists:
7:00 P.M. Jayna Emily Afandor, song title: “You Died For Me”
7:30 Dawn Larsen, song title: “You Lead Me to the Well”
8:00 John Pickett, song title “Go to Abba”
8:30 Grover Windham, song title: “Shoulda Woulda Coulda”
