The Art Trail Gallery has offered space for student exhibitions from Florence School District One. The exhibits will change monthly with different schools featured each month.
The initial exhibit features paintings from students at Southside Middle school. The students studied the work of Jacob Lawrence and created their own images based on his work. There will be an opening reception for students and parents this Friday, Oct. 3, 5:30 to 7:30 at the gallery, 185 W. Evans St. The reception will be held in conjunction with the opening of the Pink Exhibit. More information can be found at the Art Trail Gallery website (http://art-trail-gallery.com/) .
