Filmmaking: The Script- Four Week Workshop

This workshop is designed to place focus on the script; the initial and vital process of filmmaking. This course will provide necessary information and training required for new and inspired writers who are interested in story-telling; writing for animation, commercials, documentaries, music videos, short and feature films. Prerequisites: No prior writing experience necessary.

Thursdays, 6:00pm – 7:30pm

$50 per student for this 4 wk workshop Class Materials to bring: 1. Writing tablet 2. Pen or Pencil 3. Laptop (not required) Students can download a freeware version of yWriter or Celtx, script writing software Ages: 15yrs + Class size: 30 students max * Raymond has been exposed to various art forms such as music, theater and visual arts to name a few. With a creative eye for design concepts and a passion for storytelling, Raymond transfers that energy from the art of scriptwriting to the tangible form of film and video production. As “Ray” says in his own words... “I’ve found my calling; I love what I do and am passionate about it”.
