The Florence Darlington Stormwater Consortium is hosting a Rain Barrel Art Review (contest) open to schools and community groups (adults or youth) in Florence and Darlington Counties. Applications are due no later than March 13 and applicants will be notified of acceptance on March 16. Completed barrels will be displayed at Kalmia Gardens Earth Day/Duck Cup on April 18 where attendees can vote for their favorite. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each division (school or community group). Barrels will then be returned to participants for installation at a public location.
