March 6-14: Noises off at the Florence Little Theatre

Noises Off
March 6-14, 2015
Written by Michael Frayn
Directed by Jumana Swindler
Underwritten by A Friend of FLT

Called the funniest farce ever written, Noises Off presents a manic menagerie as a cast of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing's On. Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play. In Act I of Michael Frayn's farce, a second-rate company of British actors is rehearsing a touring company of a terrible sex farce. Act II reveals the backstage chaos that takes place during a performance, and Act III follows the onstage performance in which everything goes wrong. Winner of the 1982 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Play!
