June 19: Turn 3 Theatre presents Grease at Darlington Raceway

Movie fans will need to enter the facility at the Gate 39A tunnel entrance, where they will be directed to the parking area just west of the hospitality village. The gates will open at 6 p.m. with movies starting at dusk. The films will be played on a big screen courtesy of the City of Hartsville.

Guests may bring food, however, concessions will also be available with all proceeds benefiting Darlington Shares. Free popcorn will be distributed to families before the feature presentation (one tub per family). Lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are permitted (no glass bottles).

Turn 3 Theater Presented by Raceway Ford Chevrolet will offer kids activities, bean bag toss games, and a variety of other family fun events. Pace car rides for a $5 per person donation and concessions will be available with all proceeds benefiting the track’s 501(c)3 non-profit arm, Darlington Shares.

October 10th - 12th: The Marlboro Players to present 'Grease'

The Marlboro Players will present the musical *Grease* on October 10-12, 2013, at the Marlboro Civic Center (106 Clyde St., Bennettsville, SC 29512). The show will start at 7:00 P.M. each night. May 18th-20th - FLT's Children's Workshop to Present Grease: The School Version

Grease: The School Version

 

The Florence Little Theatre Children's Workshop will present a production of Grease: The School Version on May 18-20, 2012. This production will be directed by Lisa Sims and is underwritten by Chick-fil-A.

 

This year we will offer four performances: Friday, May 18 at 7:30pm; Saturday, May 19 at 3:00pm and 7:30pm and Sunday, May 20 at 3:00pm. Featuring the classic rock and roll tunes that have become part of our pop culture including Summer Nights, The Hand Jive, Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee and We Go Together in a more family friendly script by the original playrwrights.

 

The Children's Workshop has been very busy this year with an enrollment of over sixtystudents. The Workshop has had a great year with some truly talented students. You will be thoroughly entertained with this production, so plan to come and bring your children and grandchildren to see Grease: The School Version.
