What: Internationally touring, critically acclaimed Americana songwriter Dylan Sneed presents the workshop Becoming a Songwriter in Hartsville.
Additional Info: Dylan Sneed, fresh off a tour of the UK and the Netherlands, will present a songwriting workshop in Hartsville, where he lives. Sneed will cover several topics related to songwriting, including music theory, song forms, creativity, and something he calls “The Artistic Mindset.” Students need to bring their primary songwriting instrument, and in Sneed’s own words, “If you can play a few chords, you’re good to go.” The workshop will last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including a lunch break.
