Pee Dee Local Author Expo at the Florence Library
The Florence County Library System will host the Pee Dee Local Author Expo from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation Library. The public will be invited to meet and talk with local and self-published authors.
Applications from authors will be accepted through Nov. 30th, 2011 for the 17 available slots. In addition to the application, authors must submit copies of all the printed works they wish to showcase. The 17 authors chosen by the library will be announced in December. All types and genres of printed material will be considered from poetry and inspirational material to children's books and science fiction.
The Expo will be free and open to the public.
