PRAISEFEST MUSIC FESTIVAL COMING

On Saturday,
October 6, 2012, Johnsonville welcomes “PraiseFest” as the “You’re Worth More
Than Gold Tour” comes to Johnsonville
High School Asheville , NC
The family friendly event will have activities during the
day and the main concert in the evening.
The show will feature Dove Awards Female Artist of the Year, Britt
Nicole; Christian hip-hop sensation, Group 1 Crew; and GRAMMY-nominated, Royal Tailor. Gates for the concert open at 5 p.m. for
ticket holders. From 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. there
will be music, vendors and arts and crafts, as well as inflatables, face
painting and games for kids. There will
also be performances during the day from local musicians including Roger Epps
& The Mighty Disciples and Cross Covenant.
“This is the first time for a Christian music festival of
this magnitude in this area,” said festival organizer, Greg Hughes. “But it’s not just for Christians - all are
welcome - regardless of your background or religious affiliation. It’s all about the community coming together.”
Many churches and local businesses such as O M Mini Mart, McCall’s
Supply Inc. and Packaging Solutions have come together to support the festival. Sponsorship, donation and volunteer opportunities
are still available.
Tickets are $10 before the event and $15 day of show. To
