January 7th: Open Mic at the Midnight Rooster

Don't miss the next Artsville Open Mic Night at the Midnight Rooster in downtown Hartsville (136 E. Carolina Ave.).  Join Dylan Sneed and the Artsville crew from 6:30 - 9:30pm on Monday, January 7th.  Admission is free.

Artsville Open Mic Guidelines:

- Sign-up starts at 6:30PM. Music goes from 7:00-9:30PM. Sorry, no call-ins.
- Maximum # of performers on stage: 3
- All performers must purchase at least one drink to be eligible for Open Mic.
- Each act gets 2 songs vs. 10 minutes, whichever comes first.
- We encourage original music!
- No backing tracks, please
- No amps, please
- No drums, except handheld percussion
- We will provide microphones, direct inputs for instruments, one tuner, and 1/4" cables.
- Please bring your own guitars/keyboards/etc.
- Please be tuned and ready to go when we call your name.
- Please tune outside of the music room.
- Please respect your fellow songwriters and do not talk during their performances.
- We reserve the right to suspend any performer who violates the guidelines above.
- Overly loud audience members, including performers, will be asked to move.
- Taping is allowed with the permission of the artist.
- No explicit lyrics, no offensive material pertaining to race, gender, creed, sexual orientation, etc. is allowed.
