The documentary film, A Man Named Pearl, on the life of topiary artist, Pearl Fryar will be shown at 5 pm at the Lowrimore Auditorium in the Cauthen Educational Media Center.
Pearl Fryar will speak at 6:30 pm.
Afterwards, there will be a reception where the public will have the opportunity to meet Fryar, as well as painters, Jack Cayton and Mary Ellen Johnson. The event is being sponsored by the FMU Department of Fine Arts. For more information, contact Howard Frye at (843) 661-1680 or hfrye@fmarion.edu.
