Escape the heat of summer and cool down while we heat things up in the kitchen by turning summer vegetables into a flavorful relish!  In this class you’ll learn the art of food preservation as you cut, chop and boil your way through the canning process.
Sallie Dent Porth, Founder & Canner-in-Chief of Sallie’s Greatest, will lead the class using her canning expertise and everyone will leave with a jar of beautifully crafted relish!  After the class is complete Sallie will also offer some of her delicious jams to sample and sell, so get your taste buds ready.
Join us on Thursday, July 24th from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.  Our class registration is limited to the first 18 people, so register quickly! If possible please bring a stainless steel bowl and sharp knife with you.  If you have any special needs for the class, please let us know in the comment box below.
