September 15-October15: DHEC Annual Photo Contest Submission Dates

Submit Your Best Coastal South Carolina Scenes 

The Photography Competition sponsored by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control is open to photographers of all ages. Hobby photographers and professionals alike are encouraged to submit entries.

The winning photo will be featured on DHEC's annual tide poster.

All entries must be submitted between September 15 and October 15. 

Limit: 5 images per photographer

Color and digital photographs are accepted. 

Digital photos that exceed a total combined file size of four megabytes will not be accepted. 

Size limits on printed photographs: Printed photographs should not exceed 8.5" x 11" and horizontal orientation is required.

Surface mailed submissions will not be returned without a self-addressed, stamped envelope from the contestant. The winner will be announced on November 1.
