Beginning this January, the Florence County Museum will be offering a five-week introductory drawing studio course for adults or teens with an interest in drawing. The studio instructor will be Colleen A. Critcher. Critcher received her M.F.A. in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012. She currently lives in Florence, South Carolina where she teaches adjunct at Francis Marion University and Coker College. INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING (Ages 13-17)
Mondays, 4:00pm – 6:00pm Beginning January 26th, 2015
5 sessions, $150 (10 students Maximum)
This course is designed to introduce younger students to the fundamentals of drawing from observation. Students will render still life objects and other sources using graphite.
