January 28-Febraury 25: Adult Drawing Studio Classes

Beginning this January, the Florence County Museum will be offering a five-week introductory drawing studio course for adults or teens with an interest in drawing. The studio instructor will be Colleen A. Critcher. Critcher received her M.F.A. in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012. She currently lives in Florence, South Carolina where she teaches adjunct at Francis Marion University and Coker College. I. INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING (Adult)
Wednesdays, 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Beginning January 28th, 2015

5 sessions $150 (10 Students Maximum)

This course is designed to give students a basic understanding of how to draw from observation. Students will complete charcoal drawing studies using traditional techniques and materials. Subjects will include still life as well as masterworks from the museum collections.
 
Adult Drawing Studio Schedule:

First Studio:                January 28th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Second Studio:            February 4th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Third Studio:               February 11th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Fourth Studio:             February 18th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Final Studio:                February 25th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
