About the Greater Lake City Artists Guild:
The Greater Lake City Artists Guild is a non-profit organization open to all visual and performing artists in the Greater Lake City Area. Our mission is to cultivate, nurture, and grow the arts in the Greater Lake City area.
The purpose of the Guild shall be to encourage and stimulate the practice and appreciation of the creative arts among people living in the Greater Lake City area and the State of South Carolina. The term “creative arts” includes, but is not limited to, artisan fine art (pottery, stained glass, sculpture, basketry), visual fine art (painting, all mediums), literary interests (writing, poetry), performing arts (music, dance, theater), media arts (photography), and gourmet dining/culinary studies. We strive to stimulate interest in the creative arts by presenting quality art exhibits, performances, and sales, and by supporting, promoting, and developing programs and projects that are of educational value to the community. We assist and encourage local efforts that enable citizens to perform and create their own art.
Benefits of the Guild include: Networking opportunities, Personal Development opportunities, Teaching opportunities, and much more.
